37 Horse Boxes and a Smart Layout for Everyday Efficiency

We delivered an impressive indoor stable complex, carefully designed around the client’s requirements and the well-being of the horses. With no fewer than 37 Premium horse boxes, including one group housing unit, an enclosed room suitable as a tack room or storage space, and two spacious grooming and care areas, this stable offers everything needed for professional use, comfort and clear oversight.

Thoughtful Design with Maximum Flexibility

All horse boxes are fitted with our Premium box fronts measuring 3500 × 2400 mm, each equipped with a robust sliding door and a practical integrated mini door. This configuration combines safety, ease of use and a refined appearance in one solution.

For the partition walls, a smart mix of fixed and sliding elements was chosen, partly in 3000 mm width and partly in 3500 mm. The sliding partition walls are specifically designed to enable mechanical mucking out of the horse boxes. By temporarily sliding the walls inward, one wide passage is created, allowing a mini loader or other machinery to enter freely. This saves time, prevents damage to the stable and ensures an efficient, clean workflow in daily stable management.

Group Housing and Enclosed Tack Room

In addition to the individual boxes, a group stable was included, ideal for young horses, herd-based housing or temporary accommodation. Along one side of the complex, an enclosed storage area was created that can also function as a tack room. Practically laid out, with ample space for saddles, tack and feed storage, and fully separated from the horse living areas.

Quality and Durability

As expected, all components of this project are executed using durable, maintenance-free materials. A combination of hot-dip galvanised steel with black plastic planks was selected—a solid and stylish solution built to last for many years without maintenance. The chosen plank type is tailored to the environment and intended use: robust, hygienic and resistant to intensive daily use. These materials not only ensure a professional appearance, but also deliver maximum functionality and long-term durability.
